After root canal treatment ‘caps’ need to be placed on the teeth for protection. Missing teeth can also be replaced by ‘bridges’. These caps can be Tooth coloured Metal ceramic caps, Metal free pure ceramic caps, or Metal Caps.
Teeth discoloured by internal staining can be corrected by a bleaching procedure. Yellow coloured teeth can also be made whiter with the help of bleaching.
Malaligned, crooked teeth, a spacing between teeth, forwardly placed teeth can all be corrected by braces i.e. clip treatment. These include metal braces or ceramic braces.
Teeth which are impacted into the bone or small pieces deep inside the bone will need the surgical method of tooth removal, which involves slight opening of the gums and removal of little bone around the tooth that helps in its easy removal.
Sometimes, normal cleaning does not suffice in controlling gum disease. In such cases, a deep cleaning procedure needs to be carried out to remove deep debris. This is called as flap surgery.
